It will take place 4pm on May 18th at Museo Miraflores (7 Calle 21-55). 8 speakers will share their talks with all the public, and we will provide food and beverages for every guest in the half-time break. Every speaker will have 2 months to prepare their talk, and practice it within the Acton Academy Guatemala community. This year, TEDxActonAcademyGuatemala 2023 allows you to share "Elephants in the room". This topic will give you the space to share everything that "normally" is not shared, it will get you out of your comfort zone, and help you explore all those controversial ideas the world has while stating yours with facts and real-world experiences. As a speaker, if you are chosen we will give you exposure to the world, a stage to share your ideas, and we will help make your talk the best it can be. And as an audience member, you will be able to hear all those controversial ideas and get inspired.
