We believe in a society where people live a meaningful life in accordance with their deepest beliefs, cooperating without obligation and assuming responsibility for their actions.
With the spirit of spreading worthwhile ideas, TEDx is a program of locally organized independently events that bring together change agents to share a similar experience to TED. At a TEDx event, videos from various TED Talks and live speakers are combined to connect and provoke deep discussion. These local and self-organized events carry the TEDx brand, where x= independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides a general guide for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations)
TED is a non-profit organization, dedicated to spreading valuable ideas. Since 1984, prominent thinkers, leaders, and entrepreneurs are invited to TED events, where they share their experiences, ideas and projects in presentations of 18 minutes or less.
