Angélica Quiñonez

Angélica Quiñonez (1990) is a Guatemalan author, comedian, and digital analyst. She earned her degree in Literature and Communications at the University of the Valley of Guatemala. She has developed a career in digital marketing and technological development. She studied her MBA at European School of Business ENEB in Barcelona. Since 2020, she has published two books, String Theory and The Notebook Attack. Mrs. Quiñonez also acts as a comedian in the City of Guatemala and as a host of a web series called The City of Books.

Janice Burt

Janice Burt, also known as Spanish Janice, is a court-certified Spanish interpreter, radio host, yoga instructor, author and inspirational speaker. Having lived in Mexico City as a child, she not only acquired Spanish language skills but also love and appreciation for other people and cultures. When she returned to California, she attended high school and university, and graduated with a specialization in Spanish and communication studies.

Daniel Soto

Daniel Soto, a Guatemalan visionary. At only 21 years old, he has helped over 500 people fulfill their dream of continuing to learn through high-quality and low-cost education. Currently, he offers more than 20 direct job opportunities. He holds a degree in Marketing and has extensive experience in the field.

Edwin Kestler

Born in Guatemala City, he is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder of Flatbox, SA one of the first Guatemalan Internet of Things (IoT) companies and the first to be named among the four most innovative companies in the world in IoT in the Smart Cities category at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain; With 10 years of experience as Head of Telecommunications and Engineering in a local financial institution specialized in Information Security, with several certifications in this area such as: CCISP, CISM, ITIL; He also participated in the first IoT bootcamp of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has obtained several national and international recognition for his innovative IoT projects. It was his field work in rural telecommunications that gave him testimony of the deep impact of technology as a catalyst to accelerate social and economic development, even in the most isolated places and in the most precarious social conditions; this life experience in the field of rural telecommunications is what now drives him towards his goal of applying innovation and the power of the IoT revolution for positive global social change.

Pedro Ruiz

Pedro believes that designing joy as the central and main guiding principle for any product/service is vital for its long-term success. An optimistic futurist with a strong belief in building a better future through abundance, he often finds himself helping companies identify converging exponential technologies that they can leverage to radically transform the world. He is the founder of Iterate Labs and Exponential Real Estate, firms through which he is exploring AI applications in finance, real estate, music, and education. His latest research focuses on human-AI collaboration to unlock super human creativity and the application of biometric inputs to create dynamic musical landscapes. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various projects exploring human-computer interaction and interfaces for AI-centered products and services. He is a certified coach of IDEO U, with over 10 years of experience as a people-centered designer, where he helps students and companies leverage Design Thinking in all aspects of their life and business.

Gabriel Salazar

Gabriel is an expert in biopolymers with over 14 years of experience in the field of plant-derived materials for the manufacture of bioplastics. His mission is to create sustainable solutions for the conventional plastic industry.

Young Seo Kim

Young Seo Kim was born on April 4, 2004 in the city of Guatemala to Korean parents. He currently attends the American School of Guatemala. Young Seo is passionate about politics and foreign affairs and plans to specialize in either one of them for university.

Lucía Montepeque

Lucía Montepeque, an actress, singer and fashion designer born in Guatemala on July 6, 1985. Graduated from A.M.D.A. New York's Musical Theater program, and a licensed fashion designer from UNIS Guatemala. She has been working in the Guatemalan artistic industry since 2013, in fields such as theater, musical theater, music, film, music videos, entertainment and commercials; She is working on creating her own music, with 4 original songs released, and continues to learn and work on acquiring new tools for her profession.
